In our constant effort to improve the experiences of our member institutions, we have made some updates to the Outcomes platform in order to streamline the process of making assignments between organizational units. We aimed to make the process faster and more efficient, while also adding some new features to meet the needs of our member campuses based on feedback we’ve received. 

Here are some highlights of the updates:

  • You will now have the ability to create assignments through your full hierarchy from one window. This will help to make the process of assigning connections faster and more efficient, as you can manage all your assignments from the same window instead of navigating between units.  
  • You can turn on a switch to automatically create assignments for an outcome down the hierarchy. If you assign a connection from your highest reporting level directly to where the assessment will occur, this will reflect across all reports.
  • You can see a summary review of an assignment chain to see where a learning outcome has been assigned. This will save time when checking your work or reviewing where requests have been assigned.
  • The process of passing assigned connections through Academic Programs will be slightly different. We have added additional options to make the process more robust.
